  11. It's also possible that, even if you're not running under MultiFinder, you
  12. could get the message about "too many files open".  If you're using SuitCase
  13. and you keep your fonts and DA's in several different files, all of them will
  14. be constantly open and it'll be easier for you to go over the limit.  I was
  15. puzzled by this for months; whenever I tried to build an application with
  16. Optimizing on, the linker would give me the error, although things were fine if
  17. I built the code without optimizing.  Finally, I went into Suitcase, closed up
  18. all my open font and DA files, and successfully built an optimized application.
